The story is set in the Land of the Dragon, where Nonoko, a newly appointed dentist, is on a mission to protect the dragon, the protector of the country, from the bacteria responsible for tooth decay. One day, during a series of battles against a neighbouring country, Nonoko discovers a young enemy soldier unconscious in one of the dragon's teeth. His name is Ber, and he was resurrected by the dragon inside one of its teeth: this supernatural phenomenon, according to legend, precedes a great catastrophe.

La historia se desarrolla en la Tierra del Dragón, donde Nonoko, recién nombrada dentista, tiene la misión de proteger al dragón, protector del país, de la bacteria responsable de la caries dental.
